What to do with yourself when the year has ended

Oh no! It's the end of the year and you don't know what to do. How do you keep yourself fit during the holidays? Are there any classes on the holidays? I know, when your passion and love has to stop for 6-8 weeks you don't know what to do with yourself. All year you think about ballet this ballet that, and now the classes have stopped and you had a great time. This is how to stay fit and find classes to do during the holidays

Staying fit over the Holidays-
The holidays for a dancers should hold no boundry. Fitness, flexibility and strength should benfit from your spare time.
All you need is a -
-Pen
-Paper
-Calender (preferably on on the wall and to do wth ballet of course!)
Write down a list of fitness components you want to work on over the holidays. Asign them all a day and writ them on you calendar. (eg. Monday (core), Tuesday (Aerobic) ect)
What do I need to work on you ask? Well here is what I usaully do. Flexibility is every day, Monday and Thursday is aerobic, Tuesday and Friday is core, Wednesday and Saturday of Floor barre and Sunday is Practising my actual dancing.
Stay motivated and have a goal for each day. Follow your plan and make sure you are ready for classes.

Ballet classes during the holidays?
I am not physco. There are such things as classes during the holidays. They might  be called summer schools, summer intensives or master classes. All are great but there are differences between them.
Summer School- these are usaully classes that run every day for about five days from 9-3.30. Mainly focussed on thoses who are not as serious about ballet.
Summer Intentsive- Classes every day from 9-5 for up to 5 weeks. Usaully only in America but mainly focussed on dancers who are aiming to dance professionally.
Master class- Really only like a normal class you take but in a company or professional dance school. I love these but can be over the top priced.
All are very good options but be careful of what one you choose and take into consideration your dance experience.
